Processing Time
All orders are processed within 1–2 business days. Orders are not processed or shipped on weekends or holidays. If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, processing may be delayed by a few additional days. You will receive a confirmation email with tracking information once your order has shipped.
Shipping Rates
We offer free standard shipping on all orders of $50 or more. For orders under $50, shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on your location and selected shipping method. We reserve the right to choose the shipping method based on cost.
Delivery Times
Delivery times vary depending on your location and the shipping method selected at checkout. Estimated delivery timeframes will be provided at checkout. Please note that delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed — delays due to carrier issues, weather, or other circumstances outside our control may occur.
Shipping Carriers
We ship via FedEx, USPS, and UPS. FedEx is our preferred carrier for most orders. Carrier selection may vary based on your location and order size. Tracking information will be provided once your order is fulfilled.
Shipping Destinations
We currently ship only within the United States. We do not ship to APO/FPO addresses or U.S. territories at this time.
Order Tracking
Once your order has shipped, you will receive an email with your tracking number. Please allow up to 24 hours for tracking information to update after you receive your shipping confirmation.
Lost or Stolen Packages
Basement Lighting Company is not responsible for lost or stolen packages once they have been marked as delivered by the carrier. If your package is lost in transit, please contact us at info@basementlightingcompany.com and we will work with the carrier to resolve the issue.
International Shipping
1. Overview
420 Basement LLC dba Basement Lighting Company (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) offers international shipping on eligible orders placed through our Shopify-powered online store. By placing an international order, you agree to the terms set forth in this International Shipping Policy.
2. International Shipping Availability
We ship to most countries worldwide. However, due to legal, regulatory, and logistical considerations, we do not ship to the following countries:
• China (People's Republic of China)
• Israel
• Russia (Russian Federation)
This list is subject to change without prior notice. Orders placed with a shipping address in any of the above-listed countries will be cancelled and refunded.
3. Shipping Costs
International shipping costs are the sole responsibility of the customer. Shipping fees are calculated automatically at checkout based on the destination country, package weight, dimensions, and selected shipping method. All applicable shipping charges will be displayed before you complete your purchase.
420 Basement LLC dba Basement Lighting Company does not subsidize, cap, or absorb international shipping fees. The rate presented at checkout is the rate charged by the carrier.
4. Duties, Taxes, and Customs Fees
International orders may be subject to import duties, taxes, customs fees, or other charges imposed by the destination country. These charges are not included in your order total and are the sole responsibility of the customer. 420 Basement LLC dba Basement Lighting Company has no control over these charges and cannot predict their amount.
We strongly recommend contacting your local customs office or postal authority prior to placing an order for an estimate of applicable fees.
5. Delivery Timeframes
International delivery timeframes vary by destination and selected carrier service. Estimated delivery windows provided at checkout are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Delays caused by customs processing, carrier operations, or circumstances beyond our control are not the responsibility of 420 Basement LLC dba Basement Lighting Company.
6. Risk of Loss and Title
Title and risk of loss for all international orders pass to the customer upon delivery to the carrier. 420 Basement LLC dba Basement Lighting Company is not liable for lost, damaged, delayed, or seized shipments after the carrier has accepted the package.
Customers are encouraged to purchase shipping insurance at checkout, where available, as international shipments are not automatically insured by the Company.
7. International Returns
International customers are responsible for all return shipping costs, including duties and taxes incurred on returned packages. Returns must comply with our standard Refund and Return Policy. Please review that policy prior to placing an order.
8. Address Accuracy
Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address at the time of checkout. 420 Basement LLC dba Basement Lighting Company is not responsible for packages delayed, undeliverable, or returned due to an incorrect or incomplete address. Re-shipping fees, if applicable, will be the customer's responsibility.
9. Restricted and Prohibited Items
Certain lighting products and electrical components may be subject to export restrictions or may be prohibited by the laws of your country. It is your responsibility to verify that the ordered items are legally importable in your destination country before placing an order. 420 Basement LLC dba Basement Lighting Company reserves the right to cancel orders that we reasonably believe may violate applicable export or import laws.
